East Riding of Yorkshire Learning Partnership
The East Riding Learning Partnership is a locally-based voluntary body with a remit to promote provider collaboration. Through collaboration we will: widen participation; increase attainment; improve standards; and meet the skills challenge.
The Partnership brings together the expertise, experience and resources of the Local Authority (LA), the local Learning and Skills Council (LLSC), Schools, Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) institutions, Adult Education Providers, IAG providers, public and private training providers, voluntary and community organisations, economic development and regeneration agencies and the business community.
Partnership Structure
Dedicated groups set up by the Learning Partnership Steering Group are responsible for devising and implementing activities in pursuit of specific objectives. Their plans inform the allocation of Partnership resources, initiates and supports collaborative working and guides related bidding activity.
Partnership Office
The Learning Partnership Office is funded by LLSC and LA and is co-located with Connexions Humber. The Learning Partnership Team, Sara Harrop and Emma Bean, support and facilitate local partnerships, policies and projects across the East Riding of Yorkshire. The team also works with partnerships across the region and nationally.
